2011 Ride Outs - More pictures from all the ride-outs are now on the gallery pages
Please go and have a look
The first Ride Out for 2011 was lead by John Cundiff, over 15 turned up at 10.00 am at Charnock Richard Services. We went A59 up to Hawes via Ribble valley and the viaduct. Had a dinner and a drink in the sun at Kettlewell, It was like a mini holiday. Back through Skipton and home for 4.50pm. Great roads, fantastic views over the dales and a good pace, plenty of time to practice and hopefully the few new members who came out with us, found it enjoyable.
2010 Ride-outs
Here is a picture from the start of our first Ride Out, organised on Sunday 20th June. A dozen members went on a run through the Trough of Bowland and on to Devil's Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale, A great day out Grommit!
Following the success of the first Ride Out we set out for the Lake District on the second one, taking in some less well known roads and some famous ones including Hardknott and Wrynose passes and the Old Dungeon Gill pub for lunch.
Here are a couple of photos, the first at the top of the Hardknott Pass
The next two are from the lunch stop in the Langdale valley

Then our third ride out was to North Wales, again some brilliant roads, out to Trawsfynedd, via Denbigh, then back via Bala and to the Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass. The group is pictured here at the Ponderosa.
